This recipe is a close approximation of the famous dish from Cracker Barrel restaurants.
Ingredients
  • 1 bag (30 oz.) frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl add hash brown, cream, soup, sour cream, onion, cheese and mix until combined well.
  3. Add mixture to greased baking pan and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 60 minutes or until browned on top.
