The sauce on this dish is amazing and has the perfect balance of heat, sweet, and tangy.
  • 2 pounds uncooked shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 3 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1½ teaspoon sugar
  • 2 green onions, sliced thin
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Cooked white rice

  1. In medium bowl add soy sauce, chilli sauce, sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, tomato paste, sugar, and whisk until combined, set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in large pan over medium heat, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add soy mixture to pan, mixing to coat well, and cook for 1 – 2 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
